Managing Your Sales & Use Tax Data Webinar


This session will help you maximize the value of effective data management strategies.  We will discuss data transformation techniques, data integrity checks, proper backup and secure storage of data sets and automation of the data management strategy.  We will also explore the required monitoring of this strategy to ensure success, compliance and continual improvement.

 

This 90-minute webinar taught by Ron Verhaalen of R&M Consulting will discuss best practices of data management and provide tips for using different tools to analyze the volume of sales tax data needed to appropriately deal with compliance and audits.

Refunds and Cancellations
If for any reason the Sales Tax Institute cancels a scheduled course, its only liability to registered students is a refund of registration fees received.  In the event that the Sales Tax Institute cancels a scheduled course, students will be notified of the course cancellation at the email address which they provided at the time of registration.  If a student cancels before the deadline, there is a $50 charge. If canceling after the deadline, there is no refund of registration fees. If substituting a course, there is no charge before deadline and a $25 charge after deadline. The Sales Tax Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
