Matthew MacNeil

Matthew MacNeil has been involved in sales taxes for the last 20 years. He is currently the Director of Solutions Engineering at Avalara Inc. Matthew is one of the original founders of Avalara’s CertCapture line of products for certificate and document management. This was originally created and developed under his company, Tax Technology Services. Matthew is a passionate advocate for the benefits of automating the sales tax compliance process. He is a graduate of Tulane University and Purdue University.
