Arizona TPT License Renewals Due January 1, 2024

The Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) has sent out a reminder that Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) Licenses must be renewed by January 1, 2024. If a taxpayer sells products or engages in a business activity subject to TPT, they must renew their TPT license annually. Penalties will apply to renewals received after January 31, 2024.

To renew a TPT license online, visit www.aztaxes.gov, login with your credentials, click “License Renewal” in the ‘Action’ section of your Business List or select “License Renewal” on the left-hand navigation bar and follow the instructions. Note that you will need your e-signature PIN to complete the renewal process. For more information, visit the state’s Renewing a TPT License webpage.

The renewal fee (if applicable) is due at the time of renewal and can be paid on www.aztaxes.gov. Note that taxpayers with multiple business locations are required to renew their TPT license electronically. Some business account information can be updated during the renewal process.

Note that unrenewed licenses will not be cancelled. To cancel an existing TPT license, use the “Account Update” option on www.aztaxes.gov or submit a Business Account Update form (Form 10193) with a cancellation effective date. (TPT Update, December 2023, Arizona Department of Revenue)
