New Jersey has issued a press release announcing that they will be launching a new taxpayer portal in 2024, with Sales and Use tax as the first tax type to be available to be filed through the new taxpayer portal. The new portal will allow faster access to accounts, easier filing, and more self-service options. Additional tax filing services spanning a variety of tax types will be added over the next few years. Taxpayers should stay on the lookout for additional information useful to transitioning to the new portal, as the release date for the new portal has not yet been announced.
