Pennsylvania is changing the way that taxpayers will electronically file sales and use and excise returns, make payments, and renew licenses, among other services. Beginning in November 2022, the current online resource used for sales tax filing called e-TIDES will be retired, and the state, move sales tax services to the online system currently used for most other tax types, myPATH. The online portal for the Department of Revenue can be found at www.mypath.pa.gov, and is currently used for individual income tax and business registrations. The DOR will provide further instructions for how this will change sales tax filing and other taxpayer services when the transition occurs. The goal of the new system is to have a more streamlined system for users and is part of a greater effort to improve customer service.
