ULCC room rate info: daily rate of $219 per room + 20% per night surcharge
Deadline to guarantee the reduced rate: Tuesday, July 2, 2024
To make a room reservation: Call the ULCC Reservations department at (312) 427-7800 or email [email protected] and specify that you are with the Sales Tax Institute Basics Class to receive the exclusive reduced rate. If two attendees from the same company would like to share a room, mention this while making your reservation. Rooms with two queen beds are subject to availability.
Guest reservations must be cancelled by 3:00pm the day prior to arrival in order to avoid a one-night room charge.
Union League Club Information
The Union League Club is conveniently located in the heart of Chicago’s downtown financial district. The ULCC prides itself in offering the ambiance, security, and extraordinary service of a private Club paired with the well-appointed guest accommodations, gourmet dining, and extensive athletic facilities of a classic, luxury hotel. Guestrooms are beautifully designed with luxurious ‘seven-layered’ featherbeds, Carrera marbled bathrooms, and LCD flat screen TVs.

Dress code: A relaxed, well-dressed look described as ‘Smart Casual’ is welcomed throughout the ULCC. Smart Casual may include jeans, denim, and collar-less shirts. Smart Casual attire or better is permitted throughout the ULCC with the following exception: Should you choose to dine in the Wigwam restaurant during any lunch or evening meals, the expected attire is Business Casual or better. (Business Casual includes collared shirt, including turtleneck, slacks or skirt with blouse or sweater. Dress denim is not considered Business Casual.)
Getting to the Union League Club of Chicago:
A taxi from Chicago Midway International Airport will average $32.00 and a taxi from Chicago O’Hare International Airport will average $40.00.
If driving, the hotel is approximately 30 minutes/10.9 miles (depending on traffic) from Midway Airport and approximately 50 minutes/17.5 miles (depending on traffic) from O’Hare Airport.
Public transportation is approximately 35 minutes from Midway Airport and approximately 45 minutes from O’Hare Airport. Transit cost from the airport will be $5.00 or less. Both the ‘L’ train blue line from O’Hare and the orange line from Midway drop you off very close the Union League Club. Please visit the Chicago Transit Authority website to plan your trip.
Parking: For your convenience, the Union League Club offers both Valet and Self-Parking. Valet Parking is available at the Federal Street Entrance. Self-Parking is available at the garage on the northwest corner of Federal and Van Buren. Special rates are available for guests with tickets that are validated at the Front Desk.
