Brenda Cassas

Brenda is a seasoned tax professional with extensive expertise in indirect tax planning, compliance and accounting. As the Director of Indirect Tax at IPG since January 2020, Brenda leads a multidisciplinary team of 10 employees, overseeing sales and use tax, property tax, unclaimed property and miscellaneous tax filings.

With a strong background in ASC 450 tax accounting, audit management and tax systems – including Vertex O Series, SAP and Workday – Brenda plays a pivotal role in optimizing tax strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance. Brenda also provides expert guidance on contract analysis, mergers and acquisitions, business licensing and tax-related risk management.

Before joining IPG, Brenda served at Acxiom LLC, where she gained extensive experience in indirect tax operations and system integrations.
