Tennessee has extended the sunset date for the state’s sales and use tax exemption for purchases and leases of equipment and infrastructure used to produce broadband communications services or to provide internet access. The exemption, which was previously set to run through June 30, 2025, will now run through June 30, 2027. (S.B. 925, Laws 2025, effective May 9, 2025)
